Blue Chip Machine manufactures boat lift pulleys, bushings and rollers made from cast nylon and plastic as well as aluminum parts for the boat lift industry. We also offer specialized Corvair tools, fixtures and services for the Corvair enthusiast as well as antique and rare auto parts fabrication and repair. Blue Chip Machine also offers CNC lathe and mill work for small to mid size parts.

Blue Chip Machine was originally Davis Tool Co. Inc which was started by Lloyd Davis in 1964 with the invention of a portable tool to prepare the ends of tubing for welding in steam boiler applications. Since that inception, focus has been on more efficient ways to complete tasks that were introduced to our company for development or improvement. Tools and fixtures for the assembly and ergonomic handling of many different products have been produced, including hand, pneumatic and automated devices widely used by Ford Motor Companies Norfolk assembly plant and other companies.

In addition Blue Chip Machine mass produces products on their CNC lathe and mills, and welcomes requests to quote. Items that are produced in large quantities include engineered plastic pulleys, rollers and bushings that are used by boat lift manufacturers along the east coast. We also manufacture parts for companies in accordance with their prints, such as threaded shafts, bushings, spacers, captive screws, nuts and similar parts.

Others items include specialty tools that have been devised to aid vintage auto enthusiasts in the maintenance of their favorite vehicle. When a special tool is needed, we are ready for the challenge. Tools are developed, not only to work well, but also to protect from damaging finished areas. Parts have been manufactured for older vehicles when none could be located, such as bumper bolts, distributor, chassis, and carburetor parts.
